Hi just a quick hello from me, im new to modeling and stumbled across this forum, so i thought i would say HELLO!!!!

my real name is matt and i live not to far from London
Im 26yrs and never really had modeling experiance before march last year (2010) when my brother got me into
an epic game created by company called workshop or something, i still make these little figures but have not painted any to date.
but i have now turned my attention to cars 1/24th to be precise and i am slowly picking it up as i go along.
im a real life petrol head as well (im sure 80% of people on here are) I love Jap cars, can't say anymore than i Own a Nissan 300zx twin turbo and a Mazda 323f Ba 2.0 v6.

well thats almost me in a nut shell, ok so it was not just a quick hello, but you get to know a little about me.

i have been looking through the forum and build threads and i must say im totally shocked by the level you guys make these model to, they are so amazing they almost look like the real thing, Guide me im a padawon waiting to listen and learn.

im not switching just taking my time with them, the only thing that fustrates me is the amount of mould lines, when you have certain figures with 8 legs and a mould line on either side of the legs, it takes time. Plus i can't afford the paints at the moment, so they are sitting on hold for the moment.

Thank you guys for the warm welcome, im currenlty working on a Tamiya Morris Mini so i will start a build thread, but be gentle as this is my first build.

cheers matt

Welcome to SPC Matt... as others said, enjoy your stay here.

As a person that loves Jap cars too, I'm waiting to see what you're going to build. And it would be interesting to see those 1:1 rides you have. A 300ZX Twin Turbo and a Mazda 323F with a 2.0 V6 are definitely nice to see so feel free to post pictures of these in the Chat and Discussion section - What Car do you drive :)

Well driving the mazda at the moment, the 300zx is a long term project, i want to do a full restoration rebuild, the car is 21yrs old and needs that extra tlc, only draw back is funds at the moment but i will def put some pics up over the next few days.

As for kits, im working on a morris mini 1275 cooper s by tamiya, also have the 300zx kit by tamiya and i have some random ferrari kits by revell (3 in total)
